Trident Hosts Sixth Cornhole Tournament Benefiting Children's Hospital at Erlanger
News

For the sixth year, Trident Transport, a local full-service logistics company, is hosting a community cornhole tournament to raise funds for the Child Life Team at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. The event will be in Trident’s Corporate Headquarters at 505 Riverfront Parkway on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from Noon to 4 p.m. and is free for the public to attend.

Striving to make it bigger and better than ever, Trident plans to have the HHM Kid’s Area, the Moxy Party Zone, local food, and local vendors, in addition to the cornhole tournament. Each team of two will compete in a round-robin style tournament and the top contenders will move on to single elimination championship rounds. Cornhole ATL will be the tournament director for the event and will handle the competition, run the tournament brackets, and referee if needed. The top four teams will win cash prizes and trophies, and the team who raises the most money will receive a prize. Entry fee for the cornhole tournament is $100. This registration fee includes entry for a team of two participants into the tournament, drink tickets, and swag bags. Team registration can be purchased at www.tridenttransport.com/cornhole.

The Kid’s Area, sponsored by HHM, will be packed full of fun activities for kids and families, including the famous slime table from last year’s event. Vendors from several local businesses will set up booths in Vendor Village for market-style shopping.

Sponsors for this year’s cornhole tournament include FirstHorizon, Coca-Cola, Moxy Chattanooga, and more! Full list of sponsors can be found at www.tridenttransport.com/cornhole.

Last year’s event raised $30,000 for the Child Life Team at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, and this year, Trident is working to give more. Their goal of $40,000 will be accomplished with the help from local businesses and the community. All proceeds from this event go directly to the Child LifeTeam.
