Trident Transport has recently named Zane Smith as Director of Sales in the Chattanooga branch.

Smith has been with the company since January 2017 and was promoted to Regional Sales Manager within his first year at Trident Transport.

Since then, Smith has accomplished and achieved numerous accolades within the company, including Broker of the Year for 2017 and 2018, as well as being inducted into the Million Dollar Revenue Club in 2018.

“Trident put me in the best possible position to succeed,” said Zane Smith. “I am surrounded by a great team who have really bought in and are fully committed. I would not be here without them. I am looking forward to what the future holds.”

Smith currently leads and manages a team of 10+ logistics coordinators and regional sales managers in Chattanooga.

“My goal is to continue to empower and challenge my team to exceed our 2019 goals, and to keep learning from those around me to become the best leader I can be,” said Smith.

Smith said he plans to add 5 to 10 people to his team by the end of the year.
